Slideshow of Memories specialise in transferring film negatives, slides and photos to DVD. Over time film negatives and slides fade and become fragile. Capture those special moments to DVD before it's too late.

We use professional-grade scanners to ensure the best quality for your photos. We digitally scan your negatives and slides at 2400 ppi (equivalent to a 7 megapixel camera) or 4800 ppi (equivalent to a 30 megapixel camera) and your printed photos at 300 ppi or 600 ppi. Our scanners includes DIGITAL ICE and DIGITAL ICE Lite Technologies, which removes dust and scratch marks from colour film and slide scans with incredible accuracy. Scanned negatives, slides and photos can then be transferred to CD or DVD as JPEGs or TIFFs.

If there is a particular type of slideshow that you would like we will work with you to create this individual and personalised slideshow. We do not charge a consultancy fee. You can consult with us as much as you feel necessary.

Photo Movie allows you to view your photos on your TV or computer. Presented with a rustic menu displaying a number of small picture buttons allows you to look through your photos. This is great for family members who do no have computers to view photos or as a nice family memento.

Preserve any treasured home video footage recorded on VHS, VHSC or Mini DV tape by converting it to DVD. The magnetic tape's lifespan if the tape has been properly stored and of good quality will last approximately 20 years.

During that time however there is always the chance of the vhs tape being chewed by the VCR and sound can become intermittent, the picture can become grainy and fill with drop-outs.
